About the Artist - Jack Nolan
Jack attended the Maryland Institute of Art and Baltimore’s “School 33” and has studied with such artists as Tony Couch, Arne Westerman, Anne Abgott, Mel Stabin and others .
He teaches Plein Air Watercolor at the Longboat Key Center ,a division of the Ringling College of Art and Design and provides workshops and demonstrations at numerous venues around the country.
For several years Jack has produced the artwork for the ASID Sarasota showhouse. He is a signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor Society and an Associate member of several other artist organizations.
A Civil Engineering graduate of Villanova University Jack served in the Army where he produced cartoons for service newspapers. He retired as founder and president of a design and construction firm and ,with his wife ,divides his time between Florida and numerous travel locations
